Food Donation Pickup & Delivery -CCH

Description

Lifeline is the beneficiary of  Sprouts and Costco Wholesale’s donation programs. Its purpose is to donate extra inventory to organizations that focus on serving children, education, or health and human organizations. Multiple days each week, volunteers pick up food donations at Sprouts and Costco and deliver them to one of Lifeline’s campuses. All donations are available on a first come, first serve basis to Lifeline clients. 

 

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Pick-up of food donations every Wednesday morning between 8 - 10 am 
  • Transport and deliver donations to Lifeline’s campus
  • Sort, inventory, and weigh donations
  • Organize and shelf donations for easy access and distribution

 Desired Attributes:

  • Must have own, reliable transportation
  • Early morning availability every Tuesday and Wednesday
  • Ability to transfer donations from shopping cart to vehicle
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. at a time
  • Must have friendly and helpful demeanor
  • 6 month minimum commitment
